who says an engagement is necessary for a photoshoot with your boo!?
Abby and Quinton completely stole my heart during our fall photo session at Peters Lake Park near Pittsburgh, PA. I mean...JUST LOOK AT THEM! It was a perfect evening filled with a ton of laughter and the most beautiful photos!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this location in the fall because even once the leaves fall from the trees, the ground is always coated with a layer of orange, yellow, & brown beauties that add the perfect POP of color to each photo. Abby, a dancer by nature, was a total dream to photograph because movement comes so naturally to her!
We were absolutely CRACKING up during this part of the photoshoot because two pre-teens were out on the lake in a kayak and simply couldn't figure out how to go in the correct direction. You might not be able to tell, but I actually had to edit them out of almost EVERY photo with the lake as our backdrop!
Although this couple has been married for just one year, they have been together since Abby's early college years! The love between them is totally palpable. They are both terribly sweet, kind, and obviously GORGEOUS!
I love when my couples bring different outfit options to their sessions and props are a GREAT way to do this. In this instance, these two brought coats which were so so perfect for the chilly night, but then once we warmed up a bit, we were able to totally change the look of the photos by simply ditching the coats!
We ended the night on the dock (and yes, I still edited the kayaking pre-teens out of these photos!) with the most beautiful backdrop of tall trees and a soft, grey sky. It's easy to see why this versatile location is one of my absolute favorites. It gives total PNW vibes here in Western PA!
