Young love at its finest.
The moment I met these two - I knew their love story was special. Unique. One for the ages. The way they so tenderly and intentionally care for each other is something love songs are written about.
Their wedding took place on a warm, but breezy summer day at Shady Elms Farms in Hickory, PA. This is one of my FAVORITE wedding venues in Pittsburgh. Their experience, from beginning to end, is thoughtful, complete, and beautiful. They also design & provide florals for their own events and they are just stunning.
As these two beautiful families came together (> 10 siblings between Lily and Caleb!), it truly felt like so much more than just a union between two people. I am honored to share images from this day with you all.
The ceremony
The ceremony was filled with emotion as Lily made her way down the aisle with her veil draped over her face. Caleb (and everyone else!) had tears in their eyes. The couple's faith is extremely important to them & this was displayed throughout the ceremony with spiritual music, deep prayer, & so much love.
Newlyweds
Photographing Lily + Caleb's newlywed portraits was as easy as can be. Just letting them exist together results in pure magic on the camera.
The Party
I LOOVEEEE Shady Elms for a million reasons - but the dinner bell is one of the top ones! It is such a fun moment for the couple to ring the bell and let everyone know it's time to eat! The space is filled with light & homegrown florals. Then...it's time to party.
Goodnight
And with a sparkler exit straight into the Jeep - the most perfectly love-filed day has come to an end.
