On a sunny Saturday in September...
Emily + Grant tied the knot at The Barn at New Sewickley in Rochester, PA. Firstly, this venue was the most pleasant surprise as it's a newer venue here in the Pittsburgh area and our first time shooting there. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with a lake, gorgeous landscaping, a waterfall, & a gorgeous clear-top tent so you can see the stars as you dance the night away.
The details Emily & Grant put into this day were literally jaw dropping. A custom veil with the lyrics to their song, lyrics to the same song on their welcome sign, custom signage for the champagne wall, the bar, the & seating chart and more, a classic black & white dance floor, a champagne tower, cold sparklers for the reception entrance, an ice cream bar with custom cups with their their initials, a custom crossword puzzle for guests to solve.....and the list goes ON!
After popping champagne with the bridesmaids, Em was set for their first-look which took place beside the venue's waterfall. After that, we had tons of time to capture wedding party photos before it was time for the ceremony over looking the lake. Also, worth noting, the ceremony's music was 10/10.
After taking newlywed portraits all over the property (we were driven on a cart by the venue's owner!), it was party time. It was the party of a lifetime as the sun set over the venue & the stars appeared through the tent's ceiling. It was truly a spectacular day.
