Jamie + Dan's Romantic Moody Fall Backyard Wedding
An event for the ages for so many reasons. Jamie + Dan got married at Jamie's parent's home just outside of Pittsburgh, PA on October 19th, 2024. The event went from clean white lines by day to soft candlelight and jewel tones to meet Jamie + Dan's love of spooky season in the most luxurious, tasteful, and glamorous way. Dan got ready at a hotel nearby while Jamie got ready at her parent's home. The couple's dog Billie was by Jamie's side all morning and loved nuzzling up in Jamie's dress! She was right by Jamie's side as she read her vows from Dan. The boys enjoyed a drink as they got ready while Jamie and her family spend time in the family's library to get her all ready for her big day & share a first look with her dad.
The ceremony took place in the family's front yard set to some of the couple's favorite music. A super fun and unique moment of the ceremony was during the first kiss when Jamie requested we captured it from behind! You'll see the image below!
The ceremony closed as the sun was setting, giving us a short period of "golden hour" to capture as many portraits of the couple as possible. It was important to Jamie & Dan to go up to Jamie's parent's balcony to capture images of them viewing the backyard and the STUNNING tent as their guests enjoyed cocktail hour.
Before we dive into the party, I NEED to show you the unbelievable details put into the reception space. A massive tent was installed over the family's tennis court including cozy booths, gorgeous lighting, variations of stunning linens, custom drinks, and so much more.
The reception was equipped with with a waffle bar, a cookie nook, an AMAZING band, gorgeous mood lighting, beautiful & heartfelt toasts, and SOO much dancing. The party ended with a cold sparkler exit as the couple drove off in a stunning vintage car.
